It appears that in the mid 1930s several members of the Nahhat family immigrated from Syria to Brazil. There they continued building beautiful ouds in the old family tradition. They even used the old Abdo George 'Atelier de Menuiserie' label but they added their Brazilizan address. Prominent among those Nahhats was Elias, the son of Abdo George.
