Ouds by Ikhwan (Brothers) Nahhat

The Ikhwan (Brothers) Nahhat label was used by Abdo George and Roufan from the late 1800s on to almost the 1920s. The older labels do not have the customary pictures and are hand-written. Later labels have the pictures of Abdo and Roufan. Oddly some later ouds have the words "Ikhwan Nahhat" carved in the Shamsiya, although the label is different, for example some George Hanna ouds. Also oddly there are some early 1900s ouds that have only Abdo's label concurrently with Ikhwan labeled ouds.
